Merit Award System

Manly Village Public School has a special award system in place that acknowledges effort, achievement and appropriate behaviour.

Mini Merits

Students from Kindy to Year 2 are awarded Mini Merits throughout the school year from their class teachers, and from teachers of specialist areas. On reaching specific targets, students receive the following awards.

Small trophy

Students from year 3 to year 6 receive gold merit certificates which accumulate over the 4 years of primary school. Upon gaining 3 gold certificates a school pennant is awarded. After 4 school pennants have been achieved a school medal is presented. Children are awarded for following the school code of behaviour:
