Manly Village Public School Library

Our school library is a very important part of the whole learning process of the students and each class has a lesson in the library each week. Mrs Neill, our librarian enjoys using the interactive smartboard as an integral part of her lessons.

The library is open from Monday to Friday and children are welcome to visit the library on those days.

The library is visited each year by popular authors and/or illustrators who discuss their work and engender a real interest in books and the process involved in producing them. These visits normally coincide with Book Week when the Children’s Book of the Year Awards are announced.

In 2009, our wonderful librarian, Chris Neill will again be organising an Author/Illustrator to visit the school. This will happen during Book Week in August
